FIRST ANNOUNCEMENT: Life science and IR Micro-Spectroscopy thematic school, Submission Deadline: 15 December 2017!

The course covers a comprehensive training in infrared spectroscopy and imaging for life-science applications, with theoretical classes and hands-on sessions.

The school will take place in Amman, 14-19 April 2018, and is open to up to 20 funded students from SESAME Members (Cyprus, Egypt, Iran, Israel, Jordan, Pakistan, the Palestinian Authority and Turkey).

Applicants are expected to be young students, typically Master and possibly PhD in physics, chemistry or biology, and to have strong motivation willing to become future users of the SESAME IR beamline.

Application submission deadline: 15 December 2017 at 23:59 (ECT).
