A two-way staff exchange scheme between SESAME and European facilities
A staff-exchange programme between Jordan and Europe is in place with a total of 65 visits planned
The programme involves:
- SESAME staff coming to European facilities: visits of up to three months to provide an effective two-way benefit. Several facilities will be chosen to provide SESAME staff with complementary training and a more complete overview of the light source techniques, instrumentation or administrative issues concerned.
- EU experts going to SESAME: Lasting one to two weeks in duration, shorter technical visits from EU experts will increase the knowledge and know-how of SESAME staff. This will be particularly targeted during critical periods such as machine commissioning, beamline construction and commissioning when specific challenges may arise.
